In July 2017 a public Space Protection order ( PSPO ) was granted to initiate restrictions on dogs in parks and public spaces in Sefton.
The PSPO is here: LINK
I was notified over the weekend of enforcement actions taking place. I contacted the Head of Green Sefton to point out that there was inadequate signage and publicity to indicate the restricted areas.
He has now suspended all enforcement action until problems are addressed.
I will update this post with further information and maps of restricted areas.

I myself had been fined a fixed penalty charge on the 12th in Victoria park Waterloo, I was not told I could appeal yet went into the One stop shop in Bootle and told to fill out a parking fine appeal form, I also appealed to the sefton email address who after 6 days of no reply told me they had passed it onto the environmental department, I am still waiting to hear about my appeal as I don’t see how my fine could still be valid with them suspending enforcement of this act without proper signage around the park which there is none. Phoning the helpline proved useless as I was passed around and kept on hold, also promised a call back from Robert Monks which I am still waiting on 3 days later. Some information on who people can get direct answers on their appeals would be really helpful.
Thankyou.
