New Realities Agreemet

Sefton Council, headed by it’s  Director Of People, Peter Morgan a Great Crosby resident have agreed a strategy with Community and Faith Sector Groups. It is called “New Realities”  and considers how we as a community and depleted Council can continue to thrive and build a better community in Crosby and Waterloo  despite austerity. New shop to open on Moor Lane

The Award winning  “Good Catch” Fish and Chip shop will be opening soon opposite “Farmfoods” on Moor Lane

POP UP shops in Moor Lane

After a recent competition with all the the Borough’s schools, three Schools; Holy Family, Merchant Taylors and The Bishop David Sheppard Primary School will be opening “POP-UP” shops in Moor lane Crosby between 10am and 4 am on Saturday 5th of July.

Local business woman, the owner and chief designer at “Roxie’s Treasures” says ” This will be good for the students to learn on how to run a business and set up in business which people need to learn entrepreneurial skills in schools”

The event is run in partnership with Sainsbury’s
Bishop David Sheppard primary School will be based in the former Lloyds Pharmacy.
The Holy Family High School will be at the former hairdressers No 6
Merchant Taylors will be based in the former Satterthwaites outlet. No19

College Road Post Office

The Post Office on College Road L23 3DP will be closing temporarily for modernisation on 7th Jul 2014 at 17:30.

It will re-open on July 25th at 13:00.

The modernised branch will offer the same products and services with the addition of Car Tax and longer opening hours.

Main branches will offer a more modern environment
and in many cases extended opening hours.
• They will offer a dedicated Post Office counter with
a broad range of products and services, as well as
certain Post Office services being available at the
retail position during the hours the retail business
is open with many main branches featuring new
assisted self-service technology.
• We already have main branches operating across the
UK and feedback so far has been positive. We plan to
establish around 4,000 by 2015.
• Customer satisfaction scores at main branches are
consistently above 90% according to independent
