Coronation Road- park hanging baskets stolen

Four decorative hanging baskets were stolen on Monday evening from Coronation Park. The theft was reported to Police and a size 11 footprint was identified as that of the thief.

In these difficult times with Sefton Council’s budget slashed to the bone, the parks rely on volunteers to help keep them in good order.  It is vile when some low-life sees fit to ruin other people’s hard work. The same baskets had been vandalised the previous evening and later replanted by Carl Davies a local park volunteer from The “Friends of Alexander and Coronation Park” ( Click Here to visit their facebook page)
